What Could Your Scotland Tour Look Like? 11 Days • Two Guests • Highlands & Islands
Day 1 – Edinburgh
Your journey begins in Scotland’s historic capital. Collected from your hotel by your private driver-guide, spend the day discovering Edinburgh’s highlights alongside the places and stories that particularly interest you.
Day 2 – Edinburgh -> Fife and Perthshire
Leave Edinburgh behind and travel north through Fife into Perthshire, with time to explore along the way. Tonight, stay at Fonab Castle Hotel, a five-star castle hotel overlooking Loch Faskally — an appropriately Scottish first night in the Highlands.
Day 3 Perth -> Southern Highlands and Glencoe
Travel west at a relaxed pace through the Southern Highlands towards Glencoe. Walks, Highland villages and lesser-known places give us plenty of opportunities to shape the day around you. Tonight, Glencoe House makes an atmospheric and historic base in one of Scotland’s most dramatic landscapes.
Day 7 Skye -> Wester Ross and Torridon
Leave Skye behind and follow the spectacular west coast into Wester Ross. Tonight, The Torridon Hotel provides a remarkable Highland retreat — remote, peaceful and surrounded by some of Scotland’s finest scenery.
Day 8 Torridon -> Loch Ness, Inverness
Travel east from Torridon towards the legendary waters of Loch Ness before continuing to Inverness for the first of two nights. On the banks of the River Ness, five-star Ness Walk provides a peaceful base within easy reach of the city centre.
Day 9 Speyside Day
Spend the day in Scotland’s famous Speyside whisky region, visiting carefully selected whisky experiences rather than simply whichever distillery happens to be convenient, before returning to Inverness for the evening.
Day 4 Southern Highlands and Glencoe -> Western Highlands and Oban
Continue west through the Highlands towards the harbour town of Oban. Known for its seafood and spectacular coastal setting, it makes an excellent base for the night. Alternatively, just north of town, the Isle of Eriska Hotel offers a secluded five-star island retreat.
Day 5 Oban -> Skye
Today we head north and “over the sea to Skye”, with 2 nights on the island we have a full day tomorrow to explore the Misty Isle.
Day 6 Skye
A full day to discover Skye with your driver-guide. Perhaps hike through its extraordinary landscapes, explore Dunvegan Castle, discover dinosaur footprints or delve into the island’s Viking past. Your guide will shape the day around your interests, the weather and what you discover along the way.
Day 10 Inverness -> Cairngorm Mountains, Central Highlands and Pitlochry
Turn south through the Cairngorms for another day in the Highlands, with the route shaped around what we’d most like to explore along the way. Tonight, return to Pitlochry — perhaps to Fonab Castle, or somewhere different such as the Old Manse of Blair.
Day 11 Return to Edinburgh
Our final day takes us south towards Edinburgh, with time to explore Stirling and the surrounding area along the way. Castles, lochs, historic towers, distilleries — perhaps one final unexpected discovery. Your Scotland Tour doesn’t simply finish. It ends with a flourish.

Our job is to listen, use our knowledge of Scotland and create a journey that works for you.
I now work with a carefully selected team of exceptional driver-guides who share the same approach. We’re your personal Scotland specialists — not guides rattling through the same script day after day.
