Custom Written means just that – every tour we do is written from a blank sheet with our client in mind. We do not have preferred suppliers or commercial agreements in place with any other supplier. This allows us to offer you the best experience here in Scotland, not decide on what to do with you to increase our revenue.

Every year we are engaged by family groups with large age ranges (from 6 months to 96 years old) being looked after on the same tour. We tour with clients throughout the whole of Scotland from the Highlands to the north and as far south as Hadrians Wall in northern England. We’ve visited many of Scotland’s islands with Orkney, Shetland and the Western Isles of Lewis and Harris featuring multiple times per year. The Isles of Skye and Mull are frequently found on our itineraries while Islay and Arran are frequently mentioned on our Whisky Tours. 

Our Guides are all experienced and have worked in the industry and for this business for multiple seasons and years. Some of our team specialise in certain subjects and should your tour be specific we’d ensure you are paired up with one of the guides which specialises in your tours subject(s). All of our guides are fully licensed and qualified in line with Scotland’s legislative requirements for tour guides.

Private Tour – It’s your group and the your guide in the vehicle. That is all, because of that we can be very flexible on each tour with our guests. So not only are the itinerary files written for you but as your guide gets to know you they’ll modify and customise it on the road with you too.

Our Vehicles are well specified for touring and well maintained to a very high standard. In addition we’re covered for breakdown with national assistance with onward travel and transfers included. Our fleet is large enough that should the worst happen we normally have a spare vehicle at base too.
