Private Whisky Tours of Scotland Discover Scotland's Distilleries, Your Way

With more than 100 working distilleries across Scotland, there’s a lot to choose from — and that’s where we can help.

We’ve visited distilleries throughout Scotland and can help you choose experiences that suit both your taste in whisky and the route of your tour. Our owner is a member of the Scotch Malt Whisky Society and has been known to turn the occasional non-believer into an aficionado — or at least help them discover a dram or two they actually like.

Where your journey begins can shape the possibilities. Arriving in Inverness or Aberdeen puts Speyside within easy reach, with distilleries including Glenfiddich, Aberlour and The Glenlivet. From Edinburgh, distilleries such as Dalwhinnie and Blair Athol can be incorporated into a wider tour of Scotland.

Starting in Glasgow opens up the west, including Campbeltown and Springbank, as well as opportunities to visit Oban and potentially Islay. An overnight stay on Islay may be necessary depending on ferry times and the rest of your itinerary.

We can also explore more unusual or harder-to-access whisky experiences. We have contacts within the industry and, where availability allows, may be able to arrange something beyond the standard distillery visit. These experiences can come at a premium, but filling your own bottle directly from a cask makes a rather good story to take home.

And it doesn’t have to be all single malts. If blended Scotch is your thing, we can incorporate experiences such as Strathisla, home of Chivas Regal, and share what we’ve learned from our own whisky experiences along the way.

We’ve visited a great many of Scotland’s distilleries, so we can advise you on which experiences are worth building into your private whisky tour — and which ones we’d leave out.
